High in the mist-covered mountains of Northern Sumatra lies the Gayo Highlands, where volcanic soil and morning clouds create something extraordinary. Our single-origin Aceh Gayo comes from these premium plantations at altitude, delivering what many consider one of the world's finest Arabica experiences.
This is clarity in a cup with bright acidity hitting first, paired with chocolate that's smooth and rich. Floral notes come through, then berries, with a subtle citrus finish. The Blend: 75% Arabica Aceh Gayo, 25% Robusta Temanggung
Now imagine that brightness anchored with something deeper. Our blend takes the delicate florality of Aceh Gayo and marries it with the bold character of Robusta from Temanggung in Central Java. The Robusta adds body, structure, and presence with a mix of earthy notes and a richer chocolate taste. In addition there's a slight tobacco undertone that grounds the whole experience.
Temanggung sits between two active volcanoes, Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro. That volcanic terroir creates something special in the Robusta beans which gives this blend the tobacco, spicy, dark chocolate and woodsy undertones. The Robusta adds serious body, structure, and that thick crema that espresso lovers chase.
